Remarks
Most probably compilation instrument:
- Characteristics of both Haynes Type E and D1. French style top joint. Dresden style middle joint and bell.
- TJ with stamp and ivory mount. MJ and B: no stamp or ivory mounts.
- TJ and MJ do not fit well together (leaving a gap).
- Wood comparison under UV-lamp shows differences in the wood coloration.
- Playing seems to confirm the ‘compilation’ theory: oboe is very much out of tune.
